Special Ops 2, a JioHotstar special, deals with cyberterrorism, where misinformation, deception, and digital vulnerability are central to the threat itself.

The launch mirrored that behaviour. A “leaked” JioHotstar presentation, supposedly revealing confidential information about upcoming shows, was briefly made live and seeded through PR, creators, piracy pages, and private messaging groups before being taken down.

Every click led to the same destination. A film featuring Kay Kay Menon and Vinay Pathak, warning viewers about suspicious links and the real-world risks of digital manipulation.

The idea used the mechanics of a leak to reflect the nature of the threat the show explores.
